Sage

I fell in love almost 12 years ago.  The kind of love that takes your breath away, makes you scream, feels like your insides are being ripped out, makes you laugh, cry, and call your mother 100 times a day for much needed reassurance that what you are doing is ok.  Sage was born with a frown on his face that quickly melted my heart and just as quickly turned to a comfortable pout that helped me understand we were meant to be.  Much has changed since that chilly spring night and at the time I didn’t think possible but the love has grown deeper and stronger.  The love that reassures me on days when I want to send him to some “home for tweens” that we are a team, we are a mother and son who have made it together this far and will continue on this course that we call life…   102_06945
